The Sports Division in the Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department offers a variety of recreational sports programs for skill development, fitness, and enjoyable sporting experiences to foster community engagement.

Adult Softball
Our City of Whittier Sports program offers Adult Softball at York Field for Spring, Summer and Fall seasons. (Participants must be 18 years and older or 16 years old+ with a parent waiver.)

Students Run Whittier
Our City of Whittier Recreation staff members host a youth running club for youth grades 2nd-8th to prepare for local 5k runs! Trainings teach participants the fundamentals of running, building self-esteem, awareness of lifelong physical fitness all while enjoying a fun atmosphere with their peers.CLICK HERE for our webpage!
