DESCRIPTION:<p></p><h3><strong>Join the 29th Annual 5K Walk to Support Domestic Violence Survivors</strong></h3><p>Registration is open for <strong>Shelter’s Right Hand’s 29th Annual “Stepping Out Against Domestic Violence” 5K Walk</strong> on <strong>Saturday, April 26, 2025</strong>. This event benefits the <strong>Women’s and Children’s Crisis Shelter</strong>, providing vital support to survivors.</p><p>Hundreds of community members will come together to raise awareness and honor victims. This year’s walk will feature <strong>Honorary Chairperson Steve Cauffman, President of the Whittier Host Lions Club.</strong></p><p>📍 <strong>Event Schedule:</strong></p><ul>    <li><strong>6:30 AM</strong> – Sign-in &amp; same-day registration</li>    <li><strong>7:30 AM</strong> – Welcome ceremony &amp; warm-up</li>    <li><strong>8:00 AM</strong> – Walk begins at <strong>6532 Friends Ave. &amp; Bailey St.</strong></li></ul><p><strong>Registration Fees:</strong></p><ul>    <li>$20 for students</li>    <li>$35 for adults (before April 11)</li>    <li>$40 after April 11 through walk day</li></ul><p>Participants who register by April 26 will receive a <strong>t-shirt</strong>, and the <strong>first 600 finishers</strong> will earn a <strong>medal</strong>.</p><p>Sign up individually or as a group at <strong>SheltersRightHand.org</strong>, via the brochure form, or by scanning the QR code on event materials.
